Privacy policy

Domly (getdomly.com) is a service for finding rental homes in Bulgaria. Here is, briefly and plainly, what we know about you and what we do with it. Questions and requests: office@getdomly.com.

What we collect

• Without signing up. A technical guest ID (session cookie), your swipes, likes and filters, your chosen city and language, and tags showing where you came from (for example, an ad). We guess your default city from your IP address using our own address database, without any third-party service.
• Account. Email and password (stored only in hashed form) or sign-in data from Google, Apple or Telegram: an ID, name and email if the provider shares them.
• Notifications. Your Telegram chat ID or browser push subscription, to send you new listings matching your filters.
• Realtor request. Name, contact (phone, Telegram or email) and wishes: rooms, budget, move-in date, comment, and the listing you wrote from.
• Your own listing. The listing details and the contact you gave for tenants.
• Technical logs. IP address, browser and request time, for security and abuse protection.

Why

• to show listings, remember your choices and send notifications;
• to pass your request to a realtor when you send one;
• to measure traffic and improve the service;
• to protect the site from spam and abuse.

Who we share it with

• A partner realtor in your city — only the request you sent, and only with your consent. Where there is no partner, the Domly team receives it. The realtor’s services may be paid — check the terms with them.
• Google Analytics — anonymous visit statistics (pages, device, country) using Google cookies.
• Telegram — to deliver messages to you or the realtor.
• Our hosting provider ukraine.com.ua (Ukraine), whose servers run the site.

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude and others)

If you connect Domly to your AI assistant, we only receive search parameters (city, price, rooms, etc.) — no name and no sign-in. We receive a contact only when you ask the assistant to send a request to a realtor and agree to share your contact. How the assistant’s developer handles your chat is governed by its own privacy policy.

Listings from other sites

Domly shows public listings from imot.bg, alo.bg and homes.bg with a link to the original. If you own a listing and want it removed from Domly, email office@getdomly.com with the link and we will remove it.

Cookies and browser storage

The session cookie lets the site remember your choices without an account. Filters are kept in your browser’s storage. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for statistics.

How long we keep it

Account data and likes — while you use the service or until you ask us to delete them. Requests — as long as needed to handle them and settle with the partner. Technical logs — briefly, for security.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing — email office@getdomly.com. We reply within 30 days. If you believe we have violated your rights, you can complain to the data protection authority; in Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP, cpdp.bg).

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page.
